Shrimp Bang Bang Bonefish Grill-like
Breadsticks make Olive Garden. Hash brown casserole makes Cracker Barrel.
Without bang bang shrimp, it's not Bonefish Grill. Bonefish Grill's staple appetizer is saucy, spicy shrimp.
Its best part? It's easy to make, like many restaurant copycats. If you can't get enough seafood, try these Bonefish Grill-inspired recipes.
Inspired by bang bang chicken, which is fried, shredded, & served with a spicy sauce.
The Bonefish Grill version uses crispy fried shrimp & a mayo-based sauce. This recipe makes 2-4 appetizers. 10-15 minutes before serving, combine shrimp & buttermilk. Ignore.
Mayonnaise, Thai chili sauce, & sriracha should be whisked together. Preheat a cast-iron skillet, Dutch oven, or deep fryer to 375°F.
Drain the shrimp from the buttermilk & toss them with cornstarch. Fry shrimp in batches till golden, 3-4 minutes. While the shrimp are still hot, throw them in the sauce to coat them.
