Pelayo says everyone is biologically either a morning person or a night owl, though some would argue both. 

These genes affect how you sleep, but they don't determine when you go to bed or wake up. 

Pelayo suggests adopting a schedule to become a morning person. Pelayo told Stanford Magazine that genetic predisposition to be night owls or morning folks are not destiny.
