Founder, owner, and director Cindy Nolan has been dancing since she was three years old. She is a member of Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America and is certified to teach dance.
For fifteen years, she studied dance in Mansfield under Claire O’Malley, a former Rockette. Cindy knew at a very young age that dancing is all she ever wanted to do. She started saving for her studio in high school while working at a Mansfield donut shop. Once she graduated, she used her savings to open Miss Cindy's School of Dance in 1966. Miss Cindy’s operated and thrived on North Main Street in Mansfield for eighteen years. In 1984, Cindy and her husband purchased a former farm at 627 East Street in Mansfield and, after extensive remodeling, converted the barn into the new home of Miss Cindy’s, where it is still located today.
