Miss Cindy's School of Dance is located in Mansfield, MA, convenient to the surrounding towns of Foxboro, Sharon, Easton, Norton, North Attleboro, Attleboro, and Plainville. We have the experienced staff and resources to give each student the personalized attention she or he needs to reach their potential. We have yearly recitals and competition classes. Please come in and observe a class through our viewing window. We know you will be impressed!

Summer Master Class with Derek Piquette
On August 9th, members and alumni of the Mansfield Dance Company attended a master class at the Studio taught by Derek Piquette. The two and a half hour class in contemporary dance was followed by a Q&A with Derek about the audition process and his time on So You Think You Can Dance.
Derek, originally from Chicopee, MA, was a Top 8 finalist on Season 12 of So You Think You Can Dance and was a featured performer on the show's 2015 North American tour. At age 18, Derek began teaching at Stars Dance Studio in Miami, and was the assistant to Victor Smalley and Angel Armas for two years. As a performer, he has been a company member with TOKYO the Company and Artists Giving Hope, and was a principal dancer in the Bridge To Artists production of Carmen. He has also performed in the Paul Mitchell Fashion Show and MOVE the World Charity Event. His career has taken him to destinations throughout the United States, Canada, and South America, where he has taught at over 150 studios. In 2015, Derek choreographed more than 200 pieces, including solos for So You Think You Can Dance. Derek currently teaches and assists at On the Floor: The Ultimate Dance Experience, working with young dancers all over Canada. He has also choreographed pieces and been a principal dancer for two of On the Floor’s Gala Nights for SickKids Hospital in Toronto.
